Life has been amazing since my last post. Let me list everything in order:

I got into my college (since I already go there it was no surprise) but I've been given a hefty scholarship and admission into the honors program.

I received both my new dresses and stuff in the mail, and everything fits wonderfully!! Of course the damn weather insists on being to cold to wear it ><...

And best of all *drumroll* I was accepted into the China/Japan abroad program for 2008!! Its through North Central (my college) and although I'll technically be an incoming freshman they're making an exception and allowing me on the trip (currently I have enough credits to be a sophomore in college, so I get some leeway). So basically I'll be spending 8 weeks in Beijing, China at the Beijing Foreign Studies University, and then seven weeks in Kyoto, Japan going to the Kyoto Gakuen. While we'll be staying in dorms in China, Japanese colleges don't have them so in Kyoto we'll be living in PRIVATE APARTMENTS! Besides that we'll get to visit all the beautiful sights and attractions (all of which I've seen before, but oh well) while taking Japanese and Chinese language and culture classes, plus a special class on international business relating to asia (my second major, whooh!!)

So I thought I'd just mention that, its really exciting. Plus my parents are already talking about getting me an iPhone for Christmas once I get back, that'd be pretty cool...

Can't wait for ACen, my friend and I weren't quick enough on room bookings, so this year we'll have to beg a couple of rides for a few days. Can't wait for all the Lolita events though since I've been talking with most everyone on the LJ EGL for a few years; I won't miss it like last year!!

Other than that... parents bought me Wicked tickets for my 18th B-Day, apparently the last show in Chicago is ON my b-day, cool ne? Its not my favorite musical, but I should see it since its obviously the show of the decade. Plus they said I can wear my dear Lolita there and they'd take me out to expensive brunch and tea beforehand.

Geh, I wish Autumn was home, I went to her house last weekend and we slummed around for a few hours watching Disney movies. Her little brother is so adorable, apparently I'm 'his girl', not kidding, if he wants my attention he says 'girl, hey girl', its rather adorable. Plus her other younger brother whupped us good at SSB, although I didn't really stand a fighting chance, can't wait for the new one though! But I'm going to the big antique market tomorrow and wanted her to go with... oh well.
